J\u2019aime \u00e0 me figurer, de longs voiles couvertes,
\nDes vierges qui s\u2019en vont chantant dans les chemins
\nEt qui sortent d\u2019un temple avec des palmes vertes
\nAux mains ;<\/p>\n

Un r\u00eave qui me pla\u00eet dans mes heures moroses,
\nC\u2019est un groupe d\u2019enfants dansant dans l\u2019ombre en rond,
\nJoyeux, avec le rire \u00e0 la bouche et des roses
\nAu front !<\/p>\n

Un r\u00eave qui m\u2019enchante encore et qui me charme,
\nC\u2019est une douce fille \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge radieux
\nQui, sans savoir pourquoi, songe avec une larme
\nAux yeux ;<\/p>\n

Une autre vision, belle entre les plus belles,
\nC\u2019est Jeanne et Marguerite, astres, vous les voyez !
\nQui, le soir, dans les pr\u00e9s courent avec des ailes
\nAux pieds !<\/p>\n

Mais des r\u00eaves dont j\u2019ai la pens\u00e9e occup\u00e9e,
\nCelui qui pour mon \u00e2me a le plus de douceur,
\nC\u2019est un tyran qui r\u00e2le avec un coup d\u2019\u00e9p\u00e9e
\nAu c\u0153ur !<\/p>\n
