Oh ! par nos vils plaisirs, nos app\u00e9tits, nos fanges,
\nQue de fois nous devons vous attrister, archanges !
\nC\u2019est vraiment une chose am\u00e8re de songer
\nQu\u2019en ce monde o\u00f9 l\u2019esprit n\u2019est qu\u2019un morne \u00e9tranger,
\nO\u00f9 la volupt\u00e9 rit, jeune, et si d\u00e9cr\u00e9pite !
\nO\u00f9 dans les lits profonds l\u2019aile d\u2019en bas palpite,
\nQuand, p\u00e2m\u00e9, dans un nimbe ou bien dans un \u00e9clair,
\nOn tend sa bouche ardente aux coupes de la chair,
\n\u00c0 l\u2019heure o\u00f9 l\u2019on s\u2019enivre aux l\u00e8vres d\u2019une femme
\nDe ce qu\u2019on croit l\u2019amour, de ce qu\u2019on prend pour l\u2019\u00e2me,
\nSang du c\u0153ur, vin des sens \u00e2cre et d\u00e9licieux,
\nOn fait rougir l\u00e0-haut quelque passant des cieux !<\/p>\n
