\nPar deux arts peut \u00eatre faite.
\nLe po\u00ebte est ciseleur,
\nLe ciseleur est po\u00ebte.<\/p>\n

Po\u00ebtes ou ciseleurs,
\nPar nous l\u2019esprit se r\u00e9v\u00e8le.
\nNous rendons les bons meilleurs,
\nTu rends la beaut\u00e9 plus belle.<\/p>\n

Sur son bras ou sur son cou,
\nTu fais de tes r\u00eaveries,
\nStatuaire du bijou,
\nDes palais de pierreries !<\/p>\n

Ne dis pas : Mon art n\u2019est rien\u2026
\nSors de la route trac\u00e9e,
\nOuvrier magicien,
\nEt m\u00eale \u00e0 l\u2019or la pens\u00e9e !<\/p>\n

Tous les penseurs, sans chercher
\nQui finit ou qui commence,
\nSculptent le m\u00eame rocher.
\nCe rocher, c\u2019est l\u2019art immense.<\/p>\n

Michel-Ange, grand vieillard,
\nEn larges blocs qu\u2019il nous jette,
\nLe fait jaillir au hasard ;
\nBenvenuto nous l\u2019\u00e9miette.<\/p>\n

Et, devant l\u2019art infini,
\nDont jamais la loi ne change,
\nLa miette de Cellini
\nVaut le bloc de Michel-Ange.<\/p>\n

Tout est grand. Sombre ou vermeil,
\nTout feu qui brille est une \u00e2me.
\nL\u2019\u00e9toile vaut le soleil ;
\nL\u2019\u00e9tincelle vaut la flamme.<\/p>\n
