On ne voit rien au Ciel, en la terre pezante,
\nAu feu, en l’eau, \u00e0 l’air, qu’en le consid\u00e9rant
\nMon esprit afflig\u00e9 n’aille se martirant,
\nEt mon \u00e2me sur soy cruellyse insolente,<\/p>\n

Quand une \u00e2me c\u00e9leste, une paresse lente
\nA me donner la vie, un brandon d\u00e9vorant,
\nUne mer d’inconstance, et un esprit courant
\nPoss\u00e8dent la beaut\u00e9 qui seule me tourmente.<\/p>\n

Elle a re\u00e7u des Cieux sa c\u00e9leste grandeur,
\nSa duret\u00e9 de la terre, et du feu la chaleur,
\nL’inconstance de l’eau, et de l’air la col\u00e8re,<\/p>\n

Si que, belle endurcye, elle peut s’esgaller
\nD’ardeur, sans se brusler, d’inconstance l\u00e9g\u00e8re
\nAu Ciel, et \u00e0 la terre, \u00e0 l’onde, \u00e0 l’eau, \u00e0
