Comme on voit sur la branche au mois de mai la rose,
\nEn sa belle jeunesse, en sa premi\u00e8re fleur,
\nRendre le ciel jaloux de sa vive couleur,
\nQuand l\u2019Aube de ses pleurs au point du jour l\u2019arrose;<\/p>\n

La gr\u00e2ce dans sa feuille, et l\u2019amour se repose,
\nEmbaumant les jardins et les arbres d\u2019odeur;
\nMais battue, ou de pluie, ou d\u2019excessive ardeur,
\nLanguissante elle meurt, feuille \u00e0 feuille d\u00e9close.<\/p>\n

Ainsi en ta premi\u00e8re et jeune nouveaut\u00e9,
\nQuand la terre et le ciel honoraient ta beaut\u00e9,
\nLa Parque t\u2019a tu\u00e9e, et cendres tu reposes.<\/p>\n

Pour obs\u00e8ques re\u00e7ois mes larmes et mes pleurs,
\nCe vase plein de lait, ce panier plein de fleurs,
\nAfin que vif et mort, ton corps ne soit que
